Health promotion
The incidence and prevalence of CKD in Africa are high and the need for renal replacement therapy is also increasing with the surging prevalence of kidney disease. The rising burden of hypertension, diabetes and viral infections are linked to causing an increase in CKD.
Therefore, we are motivated to increase health promotion in chronic kidney patients. Our attempts are directed to decrease the risk factors. Health promotion strategies include training, disease prevention, and providing effective treatment services.
Prevention of disease
ARCF provides early detection and effective management services. By reducing the risk factors and supporting patients to adapt to a better lifestyle, we can help kidney patients prevent end-stage kidney disease. We provide CKD management to mitigate the risk factors in CKD patients. Reducing cardiovascular risk factors can increase the life expectancy of CKD patients. Thus, our care team monitors the health status and promotes health and wellness to prevent and diagnose this disease at an initial stage.
